My Work
I wake up everyday, inspired to write. Some days are easier than others. It's the difficult days, when I push through, that are the most rewarding. If it was easy, everyone would do it! Thanks for supporting my work.
My Journey
My name is Michael Rankin, and I am so excited to have realized my dream of becoming a science fiction writer.
The Purgatory Trials took me a couple of years to finish, and I've learned so much about the process and about myself along the way. Some days I breezed through many pages, while others I really had to push myself through. I wouldn't have changed this journey in any way, as it has helped me realize that to go after your dream, it takes hard work!
The sequel, The Gates of Eden, took one year, so the process is getting easier for me as I learn the in's and out's of being a self-published writer.
I'm currently working on my next novel. I hope you enjoy my books, and appreciate all who have supported me along the way.
